Spectator’s Guide
General information for spectators
Location
All play in the 2003 Croquet World Series will be held at the National Croquet Center at 700 Florida Mango Road in West Palm Beach, Florida. (For information about the venue, see the NCC website.)
Parking
Parking for the event is free. The NCC parking lot entrance is on Florida Mango Road, just south of Summit Boulevard. Overflow parking is available all days except Sundays at the Baptist Church just south of the NCC main entrance.
Admission and access
General Admission is free, with first-come first-served seating along the concrete walkway that runs from the parking lot along the south and east ends of the courts. Access is directly from the south end of the parking lot. Please keep movement and noise to a minimum in order to avoid distracting the players.
The clubhouse veranda is generally off-limits except for private box holders and other ticket holders. Tickets for veranda seating may be purchased daily on an as-available basis ($20 for a wicker chair on the veranda; $15 for a plastic chair in front of the veranda).
Spectators are not allowed on the courts or in the shelters between the courts. Access to the clubhouse is by the front entrance only—general admission spectators must walk back along the concrete walkway to the parking lot and around to the front entrance.
Cafe Croquet will be open for lunch; reservations recommended (561-478-2300). A limited number of seats on the veranda are available for Cafe Croquet customers; inquire while booking.
Schedule
Matches will be held every day from November 1 through November 15. All matches will begin at 9:00 AM. Match duration is typically between two and six hours, so morning and early afternoon are the best times for reliable viewing.
For specific schedule information, see the Scores & Schedules pages.
